[movies]1953 Commercial for Lucky Strike cigarettes (ad 7)
A 1953 commercial for Lucky Strike cigarettes featuring Dorothy Collins. Just HOW MANY commercials did Lucky Strike make, anyway? With a half-hour prime-time series having 2 or 3 commercials breaks per an episode during the 1950s and Lucky only sponsoring 2 or 3 series at a time, I'm amazed at how many Lucky Strike commercials there are. It's like they can breed or something.

[movies]1954 commercial for Lucky Strike cigarettes (ad 6)

[movies]1954 Commercial for Lucky Strike Cigarettes (ad 3)
A 1954 commercial for Lucky Strike cigarettes, featuring Dorothy Collins, who in real life suffered from asthma. Features a catchy jingle. I don'tĀ smoke but I enjoy Lucky Strike's 1950s commercials. This commercial was taken from a 1954 episode, but may have also aired in 1953, I'm not sure.

[movies]The Emperor Presents Dorothy Collins - Matthew Paul Argall
Just some video I (Argall) edited together, with clips of Dorothy Collins singing songs on the "Your Hit Parade" series, as well as a few of her Lucky Strike commercials. Yes, I realise this video has a silly title...but it's a catchy title, much like some of the songs she sings. (note: while the "Your Hit Parade" TV series is public domain, the compositions she performs are still copyrighted. So maybe not a wise idea to upload it to YouTube)

[movies]Your Hit Parade - May 2, 1951 (Music/Variety)
An episode of "Your Hit Parade", a music-themed TV series in which the cast performed the hit songs of the week and a couple of "extras". This episode is a bit of a "off-episode", not up to usual standards. Songs include: "Mockin Bird Hill", "Sparrow in the Treetops", "Be My Love", "How High the Moon", "On Top of Old Smoky" (a dreadful rendition), "Would I Love You" and "If". Some severe sound issues during the closing credits and Lucky Strike jingle.

[movies]Your Hit Parade - Christmas Eve Show 1955
An episode of "Your Hit Parade" from the 24th December 1955. This NBC series presented the cast performing covers of pop chart hits. This episode has excellent production values and one of the worst commercials of all time. Also one of the few episodes of this series with an actual guest star. Main Singers are Dorothy Collins, Snooky Lanson, Russell Arms, and Gisele MacKenzie.
